I haven't been to a Paramount since the Yonge/Dundas location opened and had never been to this location before.

I have to say the visit was disappointing. SLOOOW service even though it wasn't remotely busy and despite the use of the call button they equipped the table with. Food was also slow to come out, despite our order not being large. I ordered tabouleh with a spicy shish taouk skewer, my husband ordered a kafta wrap combo.

The tabouleh was dull green, full of limp parsley instead of nice fresh green parsley. It was also soggy, watery and underdressed (tasted like it was dressed with water!). The rest of the food was okay, but didn't make up for the tabouleh.

    Definitely would not return.

It was my first time dinning in at this location and it was pretty decent. It is a smaller location compared to other ones I've been to but nonetheless the service was fast and our waitress was friendly.

Anyway, I really loved the appetizer we got way more than my actually meal. We got freshly made straight out of the oven bread to eat with 3 sides: amazinggg hummus, tabbouleh salad and some sort of smushed eggplant thing (sorry, forgot the actual name) that was to die for . For my actual meal I got the salmon with rice dish which was super bland. I got some cocktail drink that looked nice but had mostly fruits with little juice (and some nasty white play dough looking thing on top). I literally had to "eat my drink" with a fork, for goodness sake ‍.

I should also mentioned that they seem to have poor heating in the restaurant as I couldn't even take off my winter parka (it was just that cold).

Would I come back here? Probably. This location isn't my top but I'll just stick to the dishes I know I love.

This place used to be good but has a problem with consistency, some locations are good but this one is baddddd. Orders are never right and everyone.moves so slow with no sense of urgency... You'll double and triple confirm the order but somehow it always comes up wrong, they barely put any meat in their shawarma sandwiches either... Won't be going here again

Came here on a Saturday afternoon, the place was half empty. The restaurant has a nice decor and very spacious. We were seated right away. We asked for a high chair for my kid. The screws were loose and wobbly, so I just went and get another one myself. The second one wasn't tight either but better. Even though there were not much customers, it was hard to get the servers' attention to place an order. There's one of those call button on the table, but either it doesn't work or the servers choose to ignore it. The meal came with a complimentary pita. It was baked fresh and warm. Pretty good start for the meal. We ordered the salmon and rice, Tabliyeh Saj Beef Shawarma, and chicken and zucchini pizza. Everything we ordered taste good, but all the meat were really dry. The salmon and rice came with a tomato black olive sauce. Sauce is nice but the menu never mentioned it was spicy with hot sauce in it. I ordered it for my kid, but I ended up eating most of it myself. Salmon was dry and came with too much rice. The beef wrap has some pickles, red onions, and cilantro in it. It was quite oily and again beef was dry. The chicken and zucchini pizza was the better dish out of all three, but the meat is dry. Some interesting things in the restaurant is it has a small kids playground and a prayer room on the back. It was a good experience as I don't usually try a lot of middle eastern food, but there's room for improvement.
